On January 2nd, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced the list of typical application cases of artificial intelligence empowering new industrialization. A total of 151 cases were selected nationwide, with 10 cases from Jiangsu. The "Application Case of AI Multimodal-based 3C Product Inspection System and Complete Equipment" declared by Zhengtu Xinshi (Jiangsu) Technology Co., Ltd. was on the list, becoming the only selected enterprise in Changzhou.

In August this year, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology launched this collection activity of typical application cases, with artificial intelligence empowering new industrialization as the main line, focusing on four major fields including technical base, industry application, equipment products, and support guarantee. Experts were organized to review the projects submitted from various regions, and finally selected the list of typical application cases. From the perspective of the source cities of the selected cases in Jiangsu, they are all distributed in southern Jiangsu, including 4 in Nanjing, 3 in Wuxi, 2 in Suzhou, and 1 in Changzhou. Zhengtu Xinshi's case was selected in the direction of equipment products.

Founded in 2009, Zhengtu is positioned as a "world-class precision inspection machine vision equipment supplier". The equipment in the company's declared case - 3C product inspection equipment, through the high-speed and high-precision industrial vision inspection system, replaces manual work to solve the defect inspection problems of display devices, shell surfaces, metal structural parts, functional components, size and color matching of 3C products such as mobile phones and computers, which can effectively improve inspection efficiency and accuracy. At the same time, the company's project team has developed an AI multimodal-based defect detection model. By collecting massive defect sample data and conducting multi-dimensional text descriptions according to defect appearances, it solves the problems of conventional AI models' insufficient ability to deal with long-tail data and poor cross-domain generalization ability for industrial defects.

In the next step, the company will continue to improve the industrial machine vision large model to adapt to the complex needs of different industries such as consumer electronics, printing, agricultural products and new energy, develop a centralized data management platform, build an industrial image generation platform, provide predictive analysis and decision support using big data and machine learning technologies, and explore its applications in fields such as process improvement and digital twins.
